The James Rotterdam Hotel

Our family had a fantastic time at The James, with its cozy and stylish vibe making us feel right at home. The modern lounge and the self-service market were a hit with everyone, offering a wide range of snacks and comfortable spaces to relax after a day of sightseeing. The central location and the super-friendly staff made our stay truly enjoyable and hassle-free.

My wife says that some more kid-friendly amenities, like a dedicated play area or child-friendly breakfast options, would make the hotel even more family-friendly.

I chose this hotel for attending a business assembly and found the 24-hour front desk, parking, lounge area with 24/7 food market, fitness facilities, meeting room, and high-speed free WiFi very convenient. The spacious room allowed for additional informal meetings which was a plus.

The one service I missed for my work was a more supportive chair and work table setup in the room.

The breathtaking view from room 1604 made my stay truly unforgettable. It felt like having a personal VIP box overlooking the city's hustle and bustle. It was a delight to watch the city come alive in the morning and then turn into a twinkling wonderland at night.

I also appreciated the opportunity to purchase the luxurious liquid soap and other unique items at the mini store. a fantastic hotel that I will definitely return to!

The hotel location is convenient for exploring the city, with great restaurant options nearby and close proximity to the train station and a public garage. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and modern with comfortable bedding and nice shower options. the staff is friendly and helpful.

The self-service lounge area could use some improvement, as it can be noisy and uncomfortable at times with limited food and drink options.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location was perfect as it was right in the middle of everything, close to the central station and all the central attractions. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding, both the bathroom and bedroom were spotlessly clean. The hotel facilities were excellent, including the 24-hour food court that was really useful for a quick and easy breakfast, plus the lounge where you can eat had a lovely relaxed and stylish vibe. The staff were super helpful and friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.

The hotel asked for credit card data even though the stay was already paid in advance. the bedside lamps were not functional and posed a fire hazard.

I personally found the fully equipped bathroom with various aids like a shower chair to be a bit unnecessary for my needs.

The hotel is located right in the center of the city, making it extremely convenient to explore all the major attractions, shops, and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are well-equipped with cooking facilities, allowing guests to prepare their own meals if desired. I particularly loved the personal touch of finding a card in the room, letting me know who cleaned it. The prices were very reasonable, considering the excellent service and attention to detail.
